Maltes stunt didn't even use triangulation, but only the "normal"
network operator data, which Cell-ID was used at which point-in-time,
and there was always only one. Every mobile phone network operator logs
this, and the data retention EU directive and national laws mandate
storing this for at least six months.

I'm curious whether people in some countries have had success using
wifi-only phones, including to make and receive calls by VoIP.
