Graduate students from across the UC Berkeley campus are invited to
enroll in Info 290: Future of Cybersecurity Policy Reading Group (1
unit). This one-credit reading group, sponsored by CLTC, will discuss
contemporary cybersecurity policy problems. The seminar will focus on
future trends in technology, as well as the economy and politics, and
how those are affecting cybersecurity policy. Topics may include
encryption, autonomous vehicles, and the ethics of artificial
intelligence. Students will be required to attend weekly 50-minute
sessions, present short papers on the readings, and write response
pieces. The course is taught by Chris Hoofnagle and Betsy Cooper, and
will be held on Mondays from12:30-1:30pm in South Hall. Students from
any discipline are welcome!
