I almost alway bring only sanitized electronics when I'm flying Internationally. Even if I've previously felt secure coming into the U.S., I'm not familiar enough with other countries laws to be of much use if they were to stop me and demand to search them.

However, to be useful, the law must be used proactively, so if you find yourself at the other side of an interrogation, you should have a copy of the law and inform them the investigator that your documents are intended to be disseminated to the public.
