As a matter of fact, "we" do not have any statutory right to remove Randy from 
our line. We filed a presumptively valid petition, cover sheet, and acceptance 
for him, and the Election Law precludes "party bosses" from then acting 
capriciously with regard to candidates. 

We could try to go to court and make some kind of argument about why he should 
be removed as our candidate, but I don't think statements made by a candidate 
during a campaign would make much of a case.
