What they want, all BS aside, is to find as many trivial excuses and technicalities for males to rape, own, and otherwise abuse females as they can. Civilization, as defined by you, in which the woman would be given the benefit of the doubt, would merely get in the way of this goal. Then they have the gall to call other countries 'decadent' and 'immoral', which is rather like the cesspool telling the mountain stream that it stinks.
