Agreed but how could any Constitutional officer ever?  Reminds me of the old
story of when Davy Crockett was in congress.  I guess the point isn't those
encumbrances but the quality of a man's soul (pardon the religious
metaphor).  Blame it on moral relativism...the inability to recognize that
the lesser of two evils is still evil and the unwillingness to distinguish
between compromising one's agenda and compromising one's principals.
