This is getting interesting.
Neocons infiltrating the party?
Who are these unnamed 'NeoCons'?

I know in California, the people speaking of purges
and kicking people out of the LP are the folks that
are supposedly 'pro-peace'.

Sounds like the pot calling a shiny kettle black.

All of the 'pro-defense' Libertarians I know have
completely embraced the idea of a 'loyal opposition'.

It's just been a vocal minority of the 'pro-peace'
folks who have been trying to force an end to the
discussion, and to purge the party of anyone that
doesn't walk lock-step with them on this issue.

They have been largely unsuccessful.
An unfortunate exception would be the loss of Wayne
Lusvardi, well known Southern California writer.
Wayne is an expert on Eminent Domanain and other
legal/political issues. He has a wonderful
educational, professional and governmental background.

Wayne recently resigned as a Los Angeles LP Treasurer
and area Executive Committee Member out of
frustration.

Why would someone who is experienced in the world of
government and (real world) politics resign from a
position he valued, enjoyed and excelled in?

Because he finally had enough of the vitriol,
dishonesty and bad behavior of the vocal 'pro-peace'
movement in California. He has given up on the
Libertarian Party as a force for change.

Another person who has recently resigned is Mister
Mark Whitney. Mark is the owner of WWW.TheLaw.Net ,
a powerful legal research company. Mark had
financial, legal and research resources not often seen
in the LPCA, and never before seen in one individual.

Mister Whitney was an elected member of the California
Board of Directors, and Chaired several important
Committees. He too resigned due to the lack of
professionalism and courtesey endemic in the LP.
Mark also resigned because these same people had no
concept of progress or winning, just of having an
exclusionary debate club.

Can we afford to have this continued brain drain?
Ron Paul, Dana Rohrbacher and Chris Cox are all
refugees from our failures and bad manners as well.

Would that we could call Party Members one name:
Libertarians.

I am not a Neocon, I am a Libertarian!
I am not a right-Libertarian, or any other brand.
I am a Libertarian, pure and simple.
That's what I am, and that's what I want.

I have never been registered to any other Party.
(I first registered Libertarian when I was 18.)

This is not a social/debate club, it's a Political
Party with a goal of bringing greater levels of
personal and political freedom to America.

If we succeed, we'll have a wonderful byproduct -
greater prosperity and fulfillment.
And then, more countries will follow our model, as
we've already seen in Chile, Poland, Costa Rica,
Russia and Estonia.

We can win this effort, but only by working as a team.
This is the most important reform of all.
