Did you plan on having the library named as libevent-1.2.so.1
or libevent.so.2 ? Also 'make verify' is having problems loading the
.lib/libevent-1.2.so.1 when I run it. This is on a FreeBSD 5.4+ box
and a FreeBSD 6.0+ box.
