For libusb-1.0, try to use libusb.git and not the released 1.0.8 version which has many known problems under Mac OS X (as well as Linux). http://git.libusb.org/?p=libusb.git;a=shortlog;js=1 2) Try to use d2xx under Mac OS X to see if that helps. The latest version of d2xx under Linux and Mac OS X are based on libusb-1.0. -- Xiaofan -- libftdi - see http://www.intra2net.com/en/developer/libftdi for details.
