Yes I am using the libftdi-0.20. Installing the filter driver seemed to do the trick for a few minutes. But now, in the device manager (Windows 7), it won't even recognize the device as a COM port. I plug in the USB and it pops up in "Other Devices" as an "Unknown Device" and then disappears after a few seconds. -- libftdi - see http://www.intra2net.com/en/developer/libftdi for details.
