LIBFTDI_INCLUDE_DIR is not internal to libftdi, see libftdi1config.cmake.
But if external applications do need to include <libftdi1/ftdi.h>, it needs to 
be changed.
I have no real opinion on that, when writing the cmake example and the config 
files I just looked at what library examples did.
I wonder when Thomas will be back from vacation, let's see what he has to say 
about that.
