whereas ftdi_sio is loaded when my 6010 products are connected, it is not loaded when my 6014 product is connected.

ie after inserting 6010:
r$ lsmod
Module Size Used by
ftdi_sio 53026 0

$ sudo rmmod ftdi_sio has no effect

regards
