Thanks, that worked. Also the psid seems to be written correctly
now - I just did a quick check with lasinfo. But I had to use an
older version of lasinfo to get it printed, it would be nice if
the version in trunk could be extended to print it again.
hmm... do you think that lasinfo is interpreting it as a byte
instead of a short? Please add more details to that bug and I will
look into it.

it isn't printed at all - so this is more a feature request than a
bug report. Maybe it was just overlooked when the lasinfo output was
changed to use the --check flag.
Ah, yes, it probably isn't printed or cumulated at all. Please file a
bug for that in the Utilities component and I will try to get to it
for the 1.2.1 release.
