It worked fine for me last night compiling with the last weekly ( 6-18-11) svn snapshot for grass 7.0, I'll poke it a bit more tomorrow. I'll need to make some bigger files to test the speed. :-)

If you have the ability to pull down a copy of the hg version <http://hg.liblas.org/main/archive/tip.tar.gz> and test, I'd appreciate it. Also, it should be much, much faster for medium-to-large sized files. http://hg.liblas.org/main/archive/tip.tar.gz Howard On Jun 13, 2011, at 11:45 AM, [email protected] wrote: > > Hi Folks, > Glynn's suggested hack to liblas-config below to work around the issue in cmake allowed me to compile grass7 with liblas support over the weekend on Ubuntu 11.04 x64. I have not read any las files yet to see if it actaully worked :-) , hopefully tonight I'll get a chance. > > Doug > > Doug Newcomb > USFWS > Raleigh, NC > 919-856-4520 ext. 14 [email protected] > --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- > The opinions I express are my own and are not representative of the official policy of the U.S.Fish and Wildlife Service or Dept. of the Interior.
