You should be able to send mail to libmesh-us...@lists.sf.net directly.
libmesh-de...@lists.sf.net requires registration but is otherwise open.

Briefly, can I coarsen an already refined adaptive mesh using any of the
MeshRefinement functions? If my solution changes dynamically, can I
manually mark an element for coarsening? I can do so for refinement, but it
looks like elements do not get deleted if I simply flag an element
e->set_refinement_flag(Elem::COARSEN). Is this doable? of If libMesh is not
designed for dynamically adapting the mesh?
