Good evening, Robert! Robert Goodman wrote to everyone...
> As usual, I didn't even know he was sick. http://classicalliberalism.blogspot.com/2006/03/dr-chris-r-tame-20121949-20 > 32006.html For some reason, the link above was broken, and it had to be peiced together, but it works. I'll try and install it again, so everyone can link up to it: http://classicalliberalism.blogspot.com/2006/03/dr-chris-r-tame-20121949-2032006.html I was personally shocked. I was amazed, actually, that we were about the same age, since we have communicated for well over a decade, and Chris Tame has been a faithful subscriber to Liberty Northwest for more than a decade. It saddens me in more ways than one, since I don't see a lot of younger folks walking up to the plate to follow in Chris Tame's footsteps. It will take a giant of a shoe fit to fulfill what he has done and accomplished for Liberty not only in Britain but throughout the western world. A lot of mature liberty advocates will miss his reasoned and seasoned approach to work in practical ways to educate those even who resist education with sound values in terms of applying libertarian approaches in both economic and social venues. We need hundreds of minds who might step up to the plate and continue what he was largely instrumental in forming and bringing to bear in his, and my, generation.
