I hope to have http://tools.wmflabs.org/hashtags/search/1lib1ref working multilingually by then -- the developer needs to tweak a couple items, so that we can support search across different languages. We also plan to put pressure on https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T123529 because we feel that this should be a native feature of Wikis for a whole range of reasons.
We can also track the pageviews for the Italian translation of pages: for example http://stats.grok.se/meta.m/201601/The_Wikipedia_Library/1Lib1Ref/it . Since #1lib1ref is a pilot concept, we are emphasizing the conversation this year, that we are reaching "x number of people" with social media, etc. we are seeing a lot of chatter like this tweet: https://twitter.com/CivicaLibraryAU/status/687398110650318850 -- which suggests that the conversation alone is valuable (and I would highly recommend reading: http://librarianscape.com/2016/01/09/wikipedia-un-posto-per-bibliotecari/ ). Next year is going to be focused more on making the contribution rates more effective, and meeting the needs of more of the Wikimedia communities: inspired by a conversation with Phoebe Ayers, we decided to run the campaign rather late in the year, to take advantage of #Wikipedia15 .
