Hello everyone, We have our next LD4 Wikidata Affinity Group Call on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 9am PT / 12pm ET / 17:00 UTC / 6pm CET. It will be a crossover event with the LD4 Discovery Affinity Group! Bruce Washburn and Jeff Mixter, software engineers from OCLC Research, will talk about their approach to building out the CONTENTdm Wikibase data model outlined in Transforming Metadata into Linked Data to Improve Digital Collection Discoverability: A CONTENTdm Pilot Project<https://www.oclc.org/research/publications/2021/oclcresearch-transforming-metadata-into-linked-data.html> and why they chose Wikibase instead of Wikidata. Then the following Tuesday, March 16th at 9am PT / 12pm ET / 17:00 UTC / 6pm CET join the Discovery Affinity Group to learn more about the project's experimental applications that were developed to increase discoverability.
