-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA512 Hello Will,
there's an article on fdisk in the ArchWiki giving an example. It's the last paragraph on the page (Using fdisk to create MBR partitions): https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Fdisk You can see the difference in the column "Start". Your partition starts at 2048 sectors, which is enough for Grub2. With cfdisk your partition starts at 63 sectors. This is apparently not enough space. Or did you hope for a solution to deal with a partition formatted with cfdisk? Cheers, Andreas -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.22 (GNU/Linux) iQEcBAEBCgAGBQJVyi6iAAoJEDvFbiItFuuSoncH/11FgGfZ9R5DVN6Vum1aw/Jr KFxb0zvK0sXiWEjz5y5WRoNovZyMePzf/SS+fW4nKzfYMEOWvHmH2pXZpYnIB3ne 8+l6dCGTIpFeSkcPcSOmgq6xp0J0iPWhEB3Nc2Lfci4Zl6VgMwoUHM61mvQbtBwz fn4MLuHIqF4/PTc3yi13T+zVcVWsseMIfxpKDKO6vYWFpeiSpGfbg5hQTfOOlmJU m6DwH0cVKAXw7bmXQa5zQ6COoOyWDOm7/klLHlwXY+LXHbVqd8fpRR/f7eyRFY+I YjuCPooHpxPBpxhzneHSQZ6jcEGqmoN4aJxs88uzbU057Yl+XkAwT3o7SyKRphw= =JOPI -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
