I uninstalled LO 3.4 and installed OpenOffice 2.4.3 and the date problem DISAPPEARED! I used exactly the same database. I used the wizard to create a report from a query. The report was was made the same way as I did in the LibreOffice 3.4 software; I used the report wizard. So the problem is in the wizard tha makes the report.
