The Navigation pane opens in the last saved position. I updated to Libreoffice 7.6.7.2 and it also works as expected. I updated to Fedora 40, which uses Libreoffice 24.2.3.2 and it always resets the Navigation pane to centered on the document whenever switching between two open documents. I tried installing 7.6.7 and it also resets the Navigation pane to centered.
