The wav files were created by a multitrack recorder which saves all of the file
names including the extension in capital letters including the file extension .
WAV. I then load them into Audacity to edit them and export them in which case
Audacity exports them in the Microsoft .wav format with a lowercase file
extension and I found is that Impress will not play any files with an uppercase
WAV file extension.
