Andrew CP <and...@crannapowell.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEEDINFO |UNCONFIRMED Ever confirmed|1 |0 --- Comment #3 from Andrew CP <and...@crannapowell.com> --- Hi I hadn’t realised how far out of date my install had got – I installed it ages ago and didn’t use it again until very recently, when I started the migration process. Thanks re that icon near the version info I had looked in that dialogue box but didn’t see it. So I am now on: Version: 24.2.4.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 51a6219feb6075d9a4c46691dcfe0cd9c4fff3c2 CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19045; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: en-NZ (en_NZ); UI: en-GB Calc: CL threaded That problem IS repeatable on the new version of LO too I have found out by accident. > Opened the problematic spreadsheet with the new version of Calc and it looked > OK though the icons for the inserted files were all a bit out of alignment > with their cells. So I moved them all to tidy it up. > Closed the file and re-opened it and the icons/files had all gone. Closed the > file and opened it in Excel – the files were absent there too. > I again restored the file from backup, and won’t be using Calc on this file > again until I know if it is a bug that will be fixed. > Does Calc support inserted files in this way, or am I doing something it was > never intended to support? thx -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
