            Bug ID: 162216
Summary: EDITING: can't select text after opening multiple .odt
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 24.2.5.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: santo....@hotmail.com

When I open two .odt documents at the same time, I can't select text (neither
with the mouse, nor with SHIFT nor CTRL + SHIFT).

It appears to happen when both documents windows open one below the other
(docking the document to half my screen), but not when I move one to the other
half, close them and reopen both.
Now, it appears that I can select text after focusing other window (ALT + TAB
or click other window) and going back.

How to reproduce:

Open two documents at the same time (select them in the file system and press
ENTER).

Try selecting the text using mouse, SHIFT, CTRL + SHIFT.

If you can select the text (bug not shown), repeat or move one of the
document's window and then repeat.

If you can't select the text (bug shown), focus other window (ALT + TAB or
click other window) and try to select the text again. You should be able to
select it now.
