I cannot create an Index with the new LO versions starting with 24.
I CAN create an index using the older version 7.5.9...
The Steps:
Create Document
Create Pages - First Page - Index - Default page
Go to top of index and click on "Insert Table of Contents Index bibliography
Popup pops up and the page crashes.
If I go to Safe Mode it doesn't crash - which is horrible because now I've lost
all my templates, Writer, Impress, Calc documents on the startup page.
I am NOT the only one with this problem.
Are you going to fix it?
I uninstall verSion 24.8.3 or 24.8.2. I've tried both of them and they crash.
I install version 7.6.7.2 and LO does NOT crash when inserting TOC and Index,
bibliography. BUT, even though I've disabled auto updates and specified notify
me of updates, somehow LO through some other portal is updating to the latest
version which DOES NOT WORK FOR ME.
I installed the old version and it works without crashing

Additional Info:
created a TOC index or Bibliography without crashing
I have no idea (even after reading the instructions) on how to create a new
profile. I can't even find the templates, files, documents I created anywhere
on my PC.
