Bug ID: 163966
Summary: Inconsistent application of text color change in
multiple cells when cells containing text of different
color
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 24.2.7.2 release
Hardware: All
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Calc
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
In LO Calc, enter some text in multiple cells (say, initially they are black
characters). Change the color of some part of the text in a cell (say, to
green) so a cell contains text of different colors (black and green).
Block/highlight all the cells containing those text, then apply text color
change in order to change all text to certain color (say, red). In my
experience, I encounter two possibilities: a) Only text of certain color would
change to red (either only the black ones or the green ones); b) Nothing would
change.
Steps to Reproduce:
1.In LO Calc, enter some text in multiple cells (say, initially they are black
characters).
2.Change the color of some part of the text in a cell (say, to green) so a cell
contains text of different colors (black and green).
3. Block/highlight all the cells containing those text, then apply text color
change in order to change all text to certain color (say, red).
Actual Results:
In my experience, I encounter two possibilities: a) Only text of certain color
would change to red (either only the black ones or the green ones); b) Nothing
would change.
Expected Results:
All blocked/highlighted text would change to the new color
