Bug ID: 164216
Summary: Calc: Using auto-filter on a colored row sometimes
also grabs the value of empty cells since 7.6
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 7.6.7.2 release
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Calc
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
When using the auto-filter tool on a colored column, the tool grabs not only
the empty in between the data but also the ones past it. It has for effect to
also crop the spreadsheet when the {empty} cells are de-selected in the
auto-filter.
When there is no empty cell between the data in the column, then the
auto-filter doesn't show {empty}, so the cells past the data are not affected.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Enter data in a column and color the whole column
2. Click the auto-filtre option and remove the empty cells
3. Sort the colummn remove the empty cells between data
4. Use the auto-filter again and see that the empty cells are not affected by
it anymore
Actual Results:
When there are empty cells in between populated cells, the empty cells past the
data in a column are also affected by the auto-filter
Expected Results:
Either always grab the empty cells past the data in a column, or always keep
them unafected by auto-filter
Reproducible: Always
