Description:
In November 2024 and now January 2025 update suggested by Calc spreadsheet
won't run macros that ran on previous version and causes 'freeze' in different
line of macro each time. Re recorded macros and still won't run 120 Copy/Paste
operations.(I use 10 different macros to reset my charts daily).
Unfortunately, the previous stable version is no longer available.
Windows 10 Home Desktop 22H2 x86 64bit. (I did not try to install on my Windows
11 laptop).
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Record copy each cell to another cell 120 times.
2.Close spreadsheet and reopen.
3.Run macro "non responsive" crash.
Actual Results:
Macro crashes in random places in the run and freezes the screen.
Expected Results:
I'm a novice. I expect to "record" save macro and run without crashing.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: Yes
Additional Info:
I did try user-old idea. to no avail. I dropped security for macros - no
change.
This 24.8.4.2 Up did this to me last November 2024 and I went back to the
2.7.xxx version which resume working. NOW I'm stuck and people are waiting for
their spreadsheets.
