            Bug ID: 164875
Summary: Please Enhance the Grid Cell Focus for LibreOffice
                    Calc
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 24.8.4.2 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: Calc
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
This is an enhancement request:
I just started using Calc, and there is one item that needs improvement -- the
grid cell focus. If a person puts in grid lines, it is difficult to see the
highlighted cell if the highlight color is darker (I like the default color).
As an example, look at Google Sheets, their cell highlight has a big grab
button and is thick along the bottom portion of the highlight. This allows the
user to see the highlighted cell much easier. Another option is to allow the
Calc user to have a thicker line options for the cell grid focus.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Highlight cell in Calc
2.
3.

Actual Results:
When the cell has grid lines, it can be difficult to see the highlighted cell.

Expected Results:
The cell selected should be clearly visible with a thicker line option. I am
aware that the highlight color can be changed.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
The user should have the option to have a thicker outline of the cell when
highlighted or implement something similar to Google Sheets. I am not aware of
an option in Google Sheets (as an example), but the cell highlight is clearly
visible.
