Description:
Saving or exporting would happen according to the formatting limitations of
markdown. It's the user's responsibility to avoid formatting mess-ups due to
overformatting of the document.
A typical use case:
When I save a block of formatted text from a webpage to my hard disk, I like it
stored in markdown. These texts typically have basic formatting only, all of
which are supported in markdown.
