            Bug ID: 165765
Summary: Block automatic hyphenation on proper nouns
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: Inherited From OOo
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
Traditional type-setting avoids hyphenating proper nouns when folding a line as
told here:
https://writing.stackexchange.com/questions/43096/end-of-line-hyphenation-how-should-it-be-used
I would love to see this option, either universal or in paragraph styles.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open a new document
2.Click Format > Paragraph > Text Flow > Hyphenation > Automatic
3.Click OK
4.Paste the word "Rumpelstiltskin " (including the space following) 20 or more
times.
5. Narrow the margins on the paragraph until some instances are hyphenated

Actual Results:
The word is sometimes hyphenated on Rumpel- and sometimes on Rumpelstilt-

Expected Results:
Hyphenation would be expected if this were a common noun or other part of
speech, but many styles guides do not permit the hyphenation of proper nouns.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
Being a proper noun, Rumpelstiltskin should not be hyphenated. MS Word is for
Philistines and cannot make the distinction, but LibreOffice is more literate
and should.
