To answer Julien's questions: I have Java 1.7.0_25 I Installed LibreOffice_4.0.3_Win_x86.msi, (downloaded 4 Jun 2013) then updated using LibreOffice_4.0.4_Win_x86.msi, (downloaded 27 June), then also installed LibreOffice_4.0.4_Win_x86_helppack_en-US.msi (also 27 June) problem occurs from first start of LO, thus:- Start LO Calc Type 1 in cell A1 Goto another cell (e.g. B2) Paste special (by any method) LO Crashes. Currently have OpenOffice.org 3.3 installed (though not frequently used). (OOO 3.3 does NOT suffer this problem) I have now uninstalled LO re-booted re-installed 4.0.4.2 re-tested, and it now works. Thanks for your support folks. it looks as if it may have been connected with the update from 4.0.3 to 4.0.4.
