Not reproduced. Document is *not* marked as modified after keeping old styles.

Template name is correct for me.

After selecting Update Styles, changes *are* visible.

I tested with a template where the default paragraph was set to have a red
background and during the testing I changed the background to None. The
template was in a directory defined in Tools - Options - LibreOffice - Paths,
so the style update dialog is triggered.

Maybe there was a fix? Wungsten: can you reproduce with 25.2?
