Then I tend to suggest to not do any workarounds in the qt5/qt6 VCL plugins in
LibreOffice for now, as using gtk3 seems to be a reasonable workaround and if
the issue is so critical, I would expect that users severely affected by this
bug probably wouldn't use KDE/Qt-based desktop environments, so not be affected
by default.

Trying to convince non-rolling-release distro maintainers/packagers to backport
a fix for Qt (once there is one) would in my opinion seem like the more
promising approach than introducing workarounds in LibreOffice, in particular
when all Qt-based applications are affected.

@Eyal: Does that seem plausible to you?
