I'm having this issue too on a fresh Debian 13 install, running Wayland/KDE.
Scrolling through a large Calc spreadsheet using the mouse wheel or by dragging
the scroll bar on the far-right of the screen causes horrible lag and
eventually unresponsiveness (tested on a 855 column/19 row sheet filled with
data in every cell). Using page up/down or the arrow keys does not cause lag
and may be a potential workaround for some. Using QT_QPA_PLATFORM=xcb as an
environment variable to run LibreOffice in X11 removes the lag for me, so I'm
doing that as a workaround for now. Using SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gtk3 fixes the
worst of the lag/unresponsiveness, though it's still noticeably slower than
using kf6 under X11 when doing things, such as using the page up/down buttons.
You're also forced to use the GTK file picker to open/save files when using
gtk3, which makes that a non-viable solution for me.
