I typically keep Calc open on the right-hand side. Linux Mint, or its desktop Cinnamon, has an issue where when the machine goes to sleep and is awakened, apps don't restore on the monitor they were on. For my PC, this means apps on the right-hand monitor are moved to the left-hand monitor, and I have to manually put them back to the right-hand monitor. So the freeze state was lost, and at the same, Calc was moved from right to left by the system. I don't know if those are related or not, but it's easy enough to test.
