Tricksing around with unencrypted copies partly works, but only partly, comparing from new to old shows the changes meaningful, however doesn't solve the sloooww issue, comparing from old to new shows the new parts as deleted ... how to understand what to do, accept or reject? Tried, rejection works, however also pulls the slowness in the old document. Aside from that, my system normally never! crashes, undoing compare document did. Was successful with unprotecting, using document compare to find the changes, and manual copy 'n paste. Tedious, however better than full manual processing.
