Yes, the issue happens only in the right side-bar properties. When the line thickness is manually changed from other options (i.e. right click > line > line thickness) then the problem does not happen. But we must consider the fact that the right side-bar properties is the only pane where all the formatting options are present together, which makes this properties pane the first choice for any figure editing.
