Thanks a lot for your input!

I think I should add that I installed LibreOffice from the Trixie repo, not the
“official” version from libreoffice.org. The Trixie package
libreoffice-sdbc-firebird contains a hard dependency against
firebird4.0-server-core.

I'm sorry – I wasn't aware of the issue

and I actually created the sample on Win10, but opened and saved it on Trixie,
which left it unusable on Win 10 and macOS…

I attach a new sample to reproduce the issue, again created on Win10, but *not*
touched on Trixie. Btw, it works fine on macOS with

  Version: 25.2.5.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
  Build ID: 03d19516eb2e1dd5d4ccd751a0d6f35f35e08022
CPU threads: 4; OS: macOS 12.7.6; UI render: default; VCL: osx
  Locale: de-DE (de_DE.UTF-8); UI: de-DE
  Calc: threaded

The lack of compatibility between platforms is not nice, but not the real
problem here IMHO – I think aggregates should work with both Firebird 3 and 4.
