I'm on Manjaro. Just tried 25.8.2.1 version. 

It's noticeably better for small scrolling(that didn't work with 25.2). If you
scroll near 1 or 2 pages, basically slow scrolling.

But it still fails when you need to scroll large portions, pretty choppy(better
than before but still unusable, way below even gtk4 level).
