Eyal Rozenberg <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ever confirmed|1 |0 Status|NEEDINFO |UNCONFIRMED --- Comment #6 from Eyal Rozenberg <[email protected]> --- (In reply to Sahil Gautam (Collabora) from comment #5) > it's quite complicated. Like if you change to let's say "Lime Theme" and > press apply, and then change back to dark theme and don't press apply, but > remove the lime theme because that would be legal & then press cancel... That is an interesting corner case to consider, but it's not what I opened this bug about. Let's interpret "unused" in the stronger sense of the word: A theme the user has not used, nor switched to or from, during the current session of LO. > The current approach is simpler, we ask the user to restart based on simple > events like "theme changed". Ah, but we don't. Even with _no_ theme change we get the restart request, and that's what bugs me. Once I start messing with the theme then it makes sense to me that the app would like a restart. It might not be ideal but it's tolerable. It's when I _haven't_ messed with the theme that I don't feel it's legitimate I be asked to restart. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
