I admit I don't really understand what that means. The style is saved in the
document (workbook for Calc), so it is part of the content. The
language-country can be set differently for different ranges of cells, which is
also part of the content of the file.

I also admit that I don't really understand how putting the language-country
selection for ranges of cells inside the "Menu > Tools > Options > somewhere"
would make it easier for users. And then someone will ask how to do the same
with parts of the content of cells; i.e. within each cell, part of it uses one
language-country setting and other parts of the same cell would use a different
setting, and those respective settings would need to go within "Menu > Tools >
Options> somewhere"?

I find it easier to [ctrl]+[1] for cells, and menu > Format > Character for
parts of text (that has been selected) within cells.

I am confused by this request.
