Menu "Edit > Paste Special > Paste Special" shows you the keyboard shortcut. It
is not clear to me whether you were unaware of the shortcut, or of the
existence of Paste Special itself.

Within the Paste Special dialog, there is a big button that says "Values Only"
and another one named "Values & Formats". You don't need to modify your
defaults every time; just use these buttons when appropriate.

Maybe this is all more pertinent for <https://ask.libreoffice.org> rather than
