            Bug ID: 170861
Summary: EDITING: Cutting and Pasting rows does not work as
                    expected.
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 26.2.0.3 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Calc
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

In MS Excel, when one cuts rows, the cut rows are shown in dotted boundary and
then, when pasted (by "Insert Cut Cells"), the old cells are moved to the new
insertion point such that there is no trace of old cells at their previous
location.

But in LO, when the rows are cut, only their content is deleted while the empty
cells remain where they are. And then pasting these cells at another location
is also difficult since one will have to first create as many blank rows and
then paste the cut content there.
