Description:
LibreOffice Writer becomes completely unresponsive when attempting to
change the page height of a particular DOCX document from 11 inches to 17
inches.
The freeze occurs both through the UI and through UNO API calls. The
application stops responding immediately after confirming the page‑size change.
Any mouse interaction causes the entire Writer window to gray out, and the
process must be terminated.
Steps to reproduce:
1.Open the attached DOCX file in LibreOffice Writer.
2.Go to Format → Page Style.
3.On the Page tab, set Paper Format to User, and change Height from 11" to 17".
4.Click OK.
Writer immediately becomes unresponsive — the UI freezes and must be
force‑terminated.The same behaviour is observed when performing the operation
using the UNO API.
Actual Results:
Writer freezes instantly after confirming the page‑height change.
The UI becomes entirely unresponsive (white/gray screen).
The process does not recover and must be force‑terminated
Expected Results:
Writer should update the page layout and remain responsive.
Page height should change without freezing the application.
UNO API should return normally after updating page properties.
