Although the following might not be considered a real solution to the report,
I'd like to suggest an additional step, in order to try to workaround (at least
partially) the problem.

After you add the link (url), set (Format Cell > Alignment) the Vertical
alignment to "Justified" (that is, in addition to "Wrap text automatically". If
the result looks the way you want it, please Save the file, close and reopen
it, so you can be sure that the result is effectively kept for the future (not
just for the current active session).
