            Bug ID: 171007
Summary: LibreOffice 26.2 .. doesn't deletes .lock file after
                    closing the file
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 26.2.0.3 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
When I write a file to a directory on a NAS in LibreOffice version 26.2.., it
creates a .~lock[filename].odt# file as desired. But when I close the file,
LibreOffice does not delete this file on the NAS. As a result, LibreOffice only
opens in read-only mode afterwards. After replacing this version with
LibreOffice version 25.8.2, this problem no longer occurs. This problem also
does not occur with Notepad. I use Synology Diskstation version 7.2 as my NAS.
The permissions on the NAS are all set correctly. Only SMB2 and SMB3 are
allowed on the Diskstation.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a file with LibreOffice 26.2 and write it to a NAS from Synology DSM
7.2
2. close the file
3. LibreOffice doesn't delete the corrispondig .~lock[filename].odt# file

Actual Results:
The stored file can be reopend only in read-only mode.

Expected Results:
The stored file should be reaopend in edit - mode.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
I tried it with two PCs, with LibreOffice Version 25.8.2 the problem
disappears.
The NAS is using SMB2 as minimum.
