            Bug ID: 171119
Summary: :can't turn OFF Auto Update
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 26.2.1.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: LibreOffice
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Since you fixed the automatic update feature, now it won't turn OFF. I DO NOT
want it to auto update. Just tell me there is an update available when I start
the program and give me the option to update or defer to later.

I have seen this mentioned elsewhere on the bug list and figured it would be
taken care of soon but apparently not.

Under Options-> Update: none of the check boxes are checked and still I find
the SW updates itself. This is VERY bad behavior and if it continues I may be
forced to uninstall the SW except when I want to use it. That would be annoying
but at least predictable.

It may seem like a minor nuisance but I have had enough trouble with other SW
updating without warning whenever it feels like it. I want the ability to
control the apps on my machine not the other way around.

Mozilla makes a big deal about privacy and protection. This is very unsafe.
Please fix it soon. Thanks.
Best regards,
Rob Kraybill
