Can anyone reproduce the naming inconsistency? > > Is this bug even manifesting in today's LibreOffice? Yes, the discrepancy between Navigator and Impress's Custom Animation deck is still present. If I insert a shape into a blank Impress document, it is named Shape 3 in Navigator (due to the pre-existing text boxes). If I add a custom animation to it, the animation will be said to target Shape 1, which is rather confusing, if you flip between the decks. I'm not sure, if a similar issue could ever appear in Draw.
