Perhaps we should add a note to https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Template:Documentation/Calc_Functions/byte_position_function_information, that these functions are legacy functions and only provided to be able to read older documents, and newly created documents need not and should not use them. > > I don't think they need documentation - at all.
